Boston Scientific
Hager are proud to have been involved in the Boston Scientific project in Bishopstown, Cork, which involved building a new medical device manufacturing facility within the existing live Boston Scientific site on Model Farm Road in Co Cork.

The new facility has a floor area of 10,500 m² and includes a main warehouse, three clean rooms, male and female changing areas, reception buildings, electrical intake and pump house, as well as a kitchen and canteen, and a main corridor (195m long x 3.6m wide).
The project involved the full installation of extensive mechanical and electrical services (including cooling systems) and the complete architectural fit-out of the warehouses, clean room and offices.
Hager products used in the project included Klik lighting control and Sollysta White Moulded wiring accessories.
Klik LCM offers a flexible and easy plug-and-play solution for applications where multi-channel control is required. The programming is carried out with an iPad and communicates with the LCM via Bluetooth. Switching, control (via KNX, DALI, DSI) and emergency lighting requirements may be enabled.
Sollysta White Moulded and Part M range of wiring accessories feature antimicrobial properties, and have both ISO 22196 and ISO 21702 certification recognition which helps to provide added safety and security reassurance for installers, specifiers and end users. The full Sollysta wiring accessories range is available in White Moulded, Part M, Decorative, Grid, IP66, and Metal-clad options.
