Le Cheile School, Tyrrelstown
Le Cheile Post Primary School is a 10,000M², 27 classroom, secondary school in Tyrrelstown, Dublin. This design and build project involved the construction of a special educational needs unit and sensory garden, specialist rooms, support teaching spaces, administration areas, physical education hall, changing facilities, all-weather playing pitch and 3G lightings, car park, landscaping, new access road, associated footpaths and street lighting.

Le Cheile School in Tyrrelstown was completed using Hager's floor standing panel boards, subdistribution
boards, protection devices, Klik lighting distribution equipment and Sollysta wiring accessories. All lighting control is automated using Hager’s KNX building automation systems, which were installed by Kieran Callaghan Electrical Contractors. Hager was contacted by the consultant initially to advise how pitch lighting could be shared between the school and the
adjoining community centre. Our proposal was based on a KNX solution and the whole project was designed as a KNX project subsequently. The contractor employs a KNX partner and approached Hager to assist them in the KNX design of the school. The scope of the works included the full electrical installation of main switchboard and subdistribution
boards, conduit, trunking and wiring, internal and external lighting services, intruder alarm and CCTV services, amplification services, door access control and intercom services, boiler house wiring, gas services installation, ventilation services, dust extraction system, lift services, surge protection equipment and rain water harvesting control panel, in addition to testing
and commissioning of entire installation.
