Domestic Enclosures

Hager has introduced a new range of multi-purpose mini enclosures called Mini Gamma. The class II enclosure range provides between 2 and 10 modular ways. Snap-in modular terminal bars ensure that the enclosures are suitable for a broad range of uses. An earth bar is provided as standard with additional earth and neutral bars added according to requirement.

Winner of the iF product design award 2007, this enclosure comes in 1-4 rows, 15-52 modules. The Gamma range is made of an insulating material colour RAL 9010. These enclosures feature a fixed DIN-Rail for devices of a maximum shoulder measurement of 45mm, with a distance of 125mm between rails. Option of plain and transparent door and is delivered with terminals, blanking clips and marking strips.

Hager has upgraded its Volta flush range of enclosures. Manufactured from insulated material and available in 1-4 row, 12-48 modules, the new enclosure has 30% extra cable space. The metal door and frame is reversible and stylish colours and finishes are available as accessories. Features include integrated spirit level and the enclosure is delivered with earth bar, blanking clips and identification labels. This enclosure is popular for applications where aesthetic and unobtrusive design is essential, and is recommended for 4th edition compliant installations.

The IP40 surface mounting enclosure comes with a transparent or plain door, in 1 - 3 rows, 18-54 modules. Manufactured from insulating material coloured white, RAL 9016, it features a removable chassis with DIN rails for ease of installation. Top and bottom cable entry plates are removable and interchangeable. The door is also reversible with an integral flush handle. An optional door lock is also available.

Both flush and surface types are are made of an insulating material coloured RAL 9016. Fixed DIN rail for devices of a maximum shoulder measurements of 47mm, distance between rails 125mm reversible door- opening 180°. Delivered with terminals and supports for neutral and earth connection.

FW Cabinets are manufactured from sheet metal and come in 3-6 rows, 1-4 sections and 36-288 modules. They are suitable in domestic or commercial applications up to 125A. There are 12 modules per row and rails have a spacing of 125m. Insulation Class II with additional internal insulation by polystyrene plates.

The Vector enclosure is IP55 weather proof rated, and is available in 1-3 rows, 3-36 modules. They feature an adjustable depth DIN rail and are supplied with sealing plugs to re-instate the IP rating after fixing. Wiring ducts of 12-36 modules enclosures/mini wiring channels for the left and right ensures conductors are neatly dressed.

The Orion range of enclosures are IP65 rated, according to IEC 529 insulation class l. Orion has earth studs on both body and door, with a removable gland plate at the bottom. There is a gasket directly moulded on the door, the door can be plain or glazed and equipped with one or two locks with triangular 8mm centres. There are 4 studs in the back of the body for mounting plate fastening and is available in RAL 7032.
